See? Now this is the one I wish I'd been able to write about my best friend!

It's so great when you can maintain a friendship for that long.

Have you heard about the Enlightment Intensive? You partner with someone for a weekend and take turns answering the question: "Who am I?" This goes on for hours and hours and hours. This is supposed to either 1) fast-track you to enlightment (this method could only have been developed in North America!); or 2) cause you to experience some sort of massive breakdown. I'm sure it would be 2) for me.

I don't see, or know, how to respond to specific comments (maybe you can't do that on blogspot?), so I will just respond here by posting a new comment.

Indigo: Why can't you?

Helen: Thank you for reading! And for telling me about the EI...you're right...only in North America! It sounds fascinating. Have you done it?

No, it sounds like the most horrendous experience possible. For one thing, I don't like talking, so I can't imagine talking for 10 or 11 hours a day. For another thing, I don't like when a lot of attention is focused on me, so having to talk about myself for 10 or 11 hours a day would just do me in. Hence the predicted massive breakdown...

AW: Because I already wrote it for my 365! It's just, you really captured what I was hoping I could.

Helen: I'm with you. I'm the kind of person who goes to therapy and asks the therapist how she's doing. Deflect, deflect!

I see. I was afraid you couldn't because you were no longer friends, or something.

This is great. And having someone to keep you honest when answering that question? Very lucky.

Mali: Lucky indeed. Thanks for reading! I have been reading your blogs, too...A-Z. Love your writing.

I really like the inclusion of photos. I may go back on some of my entries and add photos too.
